I’m a big believer in the mind body connection because I’ve experienced this for myself. “When your body is stuck, move your mind. When your mind is stuck, move your body.”

Personally, my journey in group fitness has shown me that a 45 minute class can be so much more than a workout; it has transformed my mental stamina, created connection + community, and built my confidence.

I remember freshman year of college when I tried my first spin class in Fort Worth, Texas. I left equally exhausted as inspired to do what the instructor on the podium did one day.
I went up to the spin instructor and said “I want to do what you do.” I cleaned the studio for a free membership & took enough classes to get me good enough to test out and become an instructor. This place soon became more than a spin studio; it became my job, community and second home. I realized how powerful group fitness could extend beyond just your physical practice.
My mission is to inspire others to become their best selves and grow both physically and mentally.

I’ve been in the fitness industry for almost a decade, starting my journey in instructing at the TCU recreation center. I served as a Program Manager for the fitness class arm to promote classes to students along with teaching both HITT and spin classesI
I became a cycle instructor at Cyclebar a year later which became a big part of my community and extended beyond just this fitness practice. Whether it be teaching at my OG studio in Texas, hometown in Oregon, or currently, in Torrance CA, I call this place more than just a fitness studio. It’s a home for me and so many others!

Great question! And not a great answer - so much of my thoughts around community engagement are currently marinating in my head, but if you have ideas to collaborate on, please reach out! I’m planning two events in 2026, one that hopefully brings the healthcare community together for a yoga session to invest in their physical and mental health followed with an educational cool down on investing in your financial health.
